I was a little squeemish at paying $65 for a keyboard of any kind, let alone a unique one without a known product history. But I rolled the dice on this one and hit the jackpot!

The device is physically well constructed. Many times with creative electronics like this you will find that corners have been cut on the manufacturing. Not here! This thing is very well made and feels solid in your hands.

As for the use of it, it could not be easier. There are no drivers to install nor any software needed to run it. The USB dongle that communicates with the keyboard is about the size of a nickle, including the plug! Once pluged into the USB slot on your computer you won't even know it's there. And there's a little storage slot in the keyboard itself to put the USB dongle in for safe keeping when you're not using it!

You just plug the dongle into the USB slot on your computer, turn the keyboard on, and your system will instantly recognize it like it was any other keyboard.

The keyboard itself does not have buttons. It's all touch sensitive. Some people hear that and say "Oh, well how do I know if I pushed the button? Where's the feedback?" The feedback is on the screen. You think you pressed "B"? Look on the screen. Is there a "B" on the screen? Yes? Then guess what...you pressed "B".

In reality the lack of physical buttons means 1 very important thing. There are no buttons to break, wear out, or otherwise stop working. This thing should be durable!

And it's amazingly easy to type with. If you've ever used a Blackberry, texting phone, or Android keyboard.....this is easier than that. Same concept of tying with your thumbs, but slightly bigger keys than on a cell phone. So it's really easy to use.

The touchpad mouse was the aspect of this thing that I had the least hope for. But I massively underestimated it. The touchpad knows what direction it's pointed and makes sure that when you move your finger up, the cursor on the screen goes up. And it's accurate. The sensitivity of the touchpad isn't crazy so that a finger width on the keyboard translastes to the entire width of your monitor. It's very usable.

And the transition between the touchpad and the keyboard couldn't be simpler. Just hit the home key and wait for the blue backlighting to go on to indicate keyboard or go off to indicate touchpad.

The backlighting is very dim, but that's not a detractor. When it's light out, you don't need the backlight. You can see the white outline of the keys adn letters just fine. When you're in a dark room, you don't want a backlight that illuminates the room. You just want to be able to see the keys. The backlight is just bright enough to make the keys visible and dark enough that it doesn't blind you.

All in all, if you have a unique use for a device like this, spend the money and buy it. It's an awesome little doodad.
