I originally bought this so that I could get better range in my home. When I received it, I noticed on the box that it said that it could handle Multifunction printers on the USB port. I had not read this anywhere on the online specs as it only mentioned hard drives. Apparently, this router supports two different firmwares. Both included on the enclosed CD. One is the DD-WRT and the other is what they call "User Friendly". The user friendly firmware supports some additional features including multifunction printers on the USB port using an included utility called Network-USB Navigator that you install on your computer. I have a MacBook Pro so I first thought, OK probably just Windows support. So to my complete surprise, on the CD it had the software support for Mac as well. So I hooked up my HP Color Laserjet CM1050 MFP to the USB port on the router and installed the software and low and behold I can print and scan wirelessly from my laptop now. This is a feature that I have been looking for forever and pretty much given up on. I could never find one that supported Mac, just Windows. So now, not only do I get better range (I get 145Mbs outside my house!), I can now print and scan from my Mac. So I am very happy with this Wireless Router
